| In
order to activate an old 12-story, power-plant boiler in Astoria,
New York, Pinnacle was contracted to remove all asbestos contamination,
and make necessary repairs. After asbestos was removed by hand
in accordance with state regulations, special power-washing
equipment was brought in for non-asbestos cleanup, which included
oil, soot and dirt. This equipment was also used to clean the
exterior structure of the boiler — including years of
built-up graffiti. |
